Your questions about Rhovion, answered clearly.
Rhovion (“Rhovion”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of every individual who engages with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, transfer, and safeguard personal information when you visit our website, submit an enquiry or membership application, communicate with us, or otherwise engage with our products and services (together, the “Services”), and describes the rights and choices available to you.
Rhovion is based at Marine Lines, Mumbai, India. For the purposes of applicable data-protection laws, Rhovion is the entity responsible for your personal information (the data fiduciary / controller). This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and any other notice we may provide at the point of collection.
By accessing or using the Services, or by submitting information to us, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services or provide us with your information.
In this Policy:
Terms not defined here have the meaning given to them under applicable data-protection law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder.
This Policy applies to personal information we process about visitors to our website; individuals who submit enquiries, requests, or membership applications; members and prospective members across our Rhodium, Sapphire, and Open tiers; buyers, sellers, and counterparties; and anyone who communicates with us by email, telephone, messaging platforms (including WhatsApp), or social media. It applies however you interact with us.
Rhovion operates as a curated marketplace and private brokerage on an enquiry and source-on-demand basis. We do not operate a public checkout; acquisitions, listings, and sales are arranged privately. Much of the information we hold is therefore provided directly by you in the course of enquiries, applications, and negotiations.
When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, access times, approximate location derived from your IP address, and similar usage data, through cookies, server logs, and similar technologies (see the section on Cookies below).
We may receive information about you from referrals or introductions by existing members or partners; from sourcing partners, sellers, suppliers, and counterparties; from publicly available sources; and from social-media and advertising platforms where you interact with us or our advertising (for example, by sending us a direct message or responding to a campaign).
We do not seek to collect sensitive or special-category personal information unless it is necessary (for example, identity data collected for due diligence). Where we do, we handle it in accordance with applicable law and, where required, on the basis of your consent.
Providing information to us is voluntary; however, if you choose not to provide certain information, we may be unable to respond to your enquiry, process your application, or provide some or all of the Services.
We may monitor, record, and retain communications and correspondence with you — including emails, messages (such as those sent via WhatsApp), telephone calls, enquiry-form submissions, and social-media interactions — for purposes including responding to and evidencing enquiries and transactions, quality and training, security and fraud prevention, due diligence and record-keeping, and compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations. By communicating with us through these channels, you acknowledge that such communications may be recorded and retained. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent or provide notice before recording.
We use personal information to:
Where required by applicable law, we rely on one or more of the following bases to process your personal information: your consent; the performance of a contract with you, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract; compliance with a legal obligation; the protection of vital interests; and our legitimate interests (or those of a third party), where these are not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights. Our legitimate interests include operating and developing our business, securing our Services, preventing fraud, and preserving the integrity and exclusivity of our marketplace. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects concerning you based solely on automated processing, without a lawful basis and, where required, human involvement and the opportunity for you to contest the decision. We may, however, use limited automated processing and profiling for purposes such as website analytics, fraud and risk screening, sanctions and watch-list checks, personalisation, and the delivery and measurement of advertising. Where we use profiling for marketing, you may object or opt out as described in this Policy. Membership applications are reviewed by us and are not determined solely by automated means.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels, tags, and local storage) to operate the site, remember your preferences, analyse how the site is used, and support our marketing. The technologies we use fall into broad categories:
These third-party analytics and advertising services may set their own cookies and may collect information such as your IP address, device identifiers, and browsing activity, and may combine it with information they already hold about you. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through the cookie-preference or opt-out tools that we or these providers make available; disabling certain cookies may affect how the site works.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following circumstances:
Rhovion deals in high-value goods and assets and may be subject to anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing, sanctions, and related laws and regulations. To comply with these obligations and to protect the integrity of our business, we may, where appropriate or required:
We may decline, delay, suspend, or terminate any enquiry, transaction, or relationship where we consider it necessary to comply with these obligations or to manage legal or reputational risk, and we will not be liable for any loss arising from our doing so. Where Rhovion is a “reporting entity” or is otherwise regulated under applicable anti-money-laundering law, we will comply with the associated registration, record-keeping, and reporting requirements.
Rhovion is based in India. Some of our service providers and partners may be located outside India, and your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your own jurisdiction. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by applicable law, and such transfers are subject to any restrictions imposed by the Government of India or other competent authority.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide the Services, maintain member and transaction records, comply with our legal, tax, accounting, anti-money-laundering, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary according to the nature of the information and the applicable legal requirements — for example, transaction, financial, tax, and anti-money-laundering records are retained for the minimum periods required under applicable law (which may be several years), while enquiry information that does not result in a transaction is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary. When information is no longer required, we delete, anonymise, or securely dispose of it in accordance with applicable law.
We take the security of your personal information seriously and are committed to protecting it. We implement reasonable technical, organisational, and administrative measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security. Any transmission of information is at your own risk, and you are responsible for keeping your own devices, accounts, and communication channels secure.
Where a personal-data breach occurs that affects your personal information, we will take appropriate remedial steps and, where required by applicable law, notify the relevant supervisory authority (such as the Data Protection Board of India) and affected individuals within the timeframes prescribed by law.
Depending on your jurisdiction and applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights in relation to your personal information:
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in the “Grievance Officer & Contact” section below. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. Some rights are subject to limitations and exceptions, and we may retain certain information where we are legally permitted or required to do so.
Under applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have certain duties when dealing with us. In particular, you agree to: provide information that is accurate, complete, and not misleading; not impersonate another person, or suppress material information, when providing personal information or supporting documentation; not register a false or frivolous grievance, complaint, or request; and otherwise comply with applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring that any personal information you provide to us about a third party (for example, a representative, co-purchaser, or beneficial owner) has been shared with appropriate authority and that the individual has been given any notice required by law.
Where you have asked to receive marketing or promotional communications, or where we are otherwise permitted to send them, we may contact you by email, messaging platforms, or other channels about our Services, listings, and offerings, and may show you advertising on third-party platforms. We send commercial communications in accordance with applicable laws governing such communications, including, where relevant, India’s telecom and commercial-communication regulations, and we honour opt-out and do-not-disturb preferences. Where we contact you by WhatsApp, SMS, or similar channels for marketing, we do so on the basis of your consent or as otherwise permitted by law. You may opt out of marketing at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided, replying to the relevant message, adjusting your cookie or advertising preferences, or contacting us directly. We may still send you non-promotional, service-related communications.
Our Services are intended for, and directed only to, adults (individuals aged 18 years or older, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it.
Our website and communications may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites, platforms, or services (for example, social-media, advertising, and messaging platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. The “Last updated” date above indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be notified by appropriate means. Your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
If you have any question, concern, or complaint about this Privacy Policy or our handling of your personal information, or if you wish to exercise your rights, please contact:
The Grievance Officer, RhovionWe will acknowledge and address your communication in accordance with applicable law. If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate it to the relevant supervisory authority, including, in India, the Data Protection Board of India.
This Privacy Policy, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, is governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
By using the Services and providing your personal information, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, and processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by and in accordance with applicable law.
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Rhovion website and the products, services, listings, membership, sourcing, brokerage, and related services we provide (together, the “Services”). The Services are provided by Rhovion, based at Marine Lines, Mumbai, India (“Rhovion”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using the Services, submitting an enquiry or application, or otherwise dealing with us, you (“you”, “your”, the “User”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or notices we publish or provide, including our policies on returns, shipping, and disclaimers.
Rhovion is a curated marketplace and private brokerage for ultra-premium goods and assets. We operate on an enquiry and source-on-demand basis. We do not operate a public checkout; acquisitions, listings, and sales are arranged privately following an Enquiry.
We may act in different capacities depending on the transaction:
You may ask about the capacity in which we are acting in relation to a particular Item. Where we act as intermediary or broker, we are not responsible for the Item itself, its title or condition, or the performance of the Seller, except as expressly stated in writing or as required by law. Not all Items are held in stock; many are sourced on demand only after a confirmed Enquiry or order. We do not guarantee that any Item can be sourced, or sourced within any particular timeframe or price.
Different categories of Item are subject to different legal, regulatory, registration, taxation, and documentation requirements. In addition to these Terms, the following apply, and any Item or transaction may be subject to further or separate terms, agreements, and statutory requirements, which prevail to the extent of any conflict in respect of that Item or transaction:
You are responsible for satisfying yourself as to, and for complying with, all legal and regulatory requirements applicable to an Item or transaction, and we recommend that you obtain independent legal, tax, and professional advice.
To use the Services and to transact with us, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. The Services are intended for the acquisition of high-value goods and assets and are not directed to minors.
Rhovion operates a three-tier membership structure:
Membership, and the admission, continuation, tier, and benefits of membership, are granted entirely at our discretion. We may, without liability and without being required to give reasons: accept or decline any application or Enquiry; reserve any Listing for a particular tier and decline an Enquiry on the basis that a Listing is reserved (for example, “reserved for Rhodium Members”); invite, decline to invite, or revoke an invitation to any tier; vary the benefits, criteria, or structure of any tier; and suspend or terminate any membership. Membership is personal to you, non-transferable, and confers no ownership or proprietary rights.
Where you apply for membership or submit an Enquiry, you must provide accurate and complete information. We may verify your identity and information, request additional documentation, and carry out due-diligence, identity, source-of-funds, sanctions, and anti-money-laundering checks (see the Anti-Money-Laundering clause below and our Privacy Policy). We may decline, suspend, or terminate any application, Enquiry, membership, or transaction where information is inaccurate, incomplete, or cannot be verified, or where we consider it necessary to comply with our legal obligations or to manage risk.
Listings, and any prices, descriptions, or images shown, are invitations to treat and an indication of the Items we may be able to supply or source. They are not an offer capable of acceptance and do not constitute a binding obligation on us to supply any Item.
When you submit an Enquiry or order, you are making an offer or request, which we may accept or decline at our discretion. No binding contract for the supply, sourcing, or sale of an Item arises until we expressly confirm it in writing (for example, by a written confirmation of order, sale, or engagement). We may decline any Enquiry or order, in whole or in part, for any reason or no reason, including where an Item is unavailable, mispriced, reserved, or cannot be sourced.
We take care to describe and present Items accurately, but descriptions, images, specifications, measurements, weights, and representations are provided for general guidance only, may be approximate, and may vary from the actual Item. Items, particularly pre-owned or collectible Items, may show variation, patina, or signs of age. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that Listings, descriptions, or other Content are accurate, complete, current, or error-free.
Many Items are offered on a “Price on Application” basis. Prices and quotations:
You are responsible for all applicable taxes, import and customs duties, and charges arising in connection with a transaction or the delivery of an Item, including those arising in the country of import or delivery. We may charge commission, brokerage, sourcing, or service fees, which we will make known to you. We reserve the right to correct any error in pricing or information, and to cancel or decline any transaction affected by such an error, even after an Enquiry has been submitted. Payment must be made in the manner, currency, and within the time we specify.
Where we source or broker an Item on your behalf or following your Enquiry, we typically acquire or arrange the Item only after a confirmed order and any required deposit or payment. Any timeframes, delivery dates, or estimates we give are indicative only and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays or for an inability to source an Item, and sourcing remains subject to availability, the cooperation of third parties, and applicable law. Where we act as broker or intermediary, the contract of sale is between the Seller and the buyer, and we facilitate but do not guarantee the performance of either party.
We take reasonable care in the selection, presentation, and, where applicable, authentication of Items. However, to the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for satisfying yourself as to the authenticity, condition, provenance, value, and suitability of an Item before purchase, and we encourage you to conduct your own inspection and due diligence or to seek independent expert advice. Except as expressly stated in a written contract or as required by law, we give no warranty or guarantee as to the authenticity, condition, quality, provenance, or value of any Item, in particular any Item supplied by a third-party Seller. Any express warranty or assurance we give in respect of an Item we sell as principal will be set out in the written contract for that Item.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, title to an Item passes only upon our receipt of payment in full of all sums due. Risk in an Item, and responsibility for it, passes on delivery or collection, or as otherwise agreed. We, or our logistics partners, may arrange delivery, shipping, insurance, and handling, the cost of which may be payable by you. For cross-border transactions, you are the importer of record unless otherwise agreed and are responsible for all customs, duties, taxes, and compliance in the country of import. You should inspect an Item promptly on delivery and notify us of any issue within any period we specify.
Given the bespoke, sourced, high-value, and often unique nature of the Items, cancellations, returns, and refunds are limited and are dealt with in our Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Deposits and sums paid in respect of sourced, commissioned, or custom Items may be non-refundable. To the extent permitted by law, statutory cancellation or “cooling-off” rights may not apply to Items that are sourced to order, personalised, or bespoke. Nothing in these Terms affects any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable law.
Where you list, consign, or supply an Item for sale through the Services as a Seller:
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
We may be subject to anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing, sanctions, and related laws. We may carry out identity, source-of-funds, and due-diligence checks, screen against sanctions and watch-lists, decline or unwind transactions, and report to authorities, as described in our Privacy Policy. We and our representatives are committed to compliance with applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, including, in India, the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. You agree not to offer, give, solicit, or receive any bribe, improper payment, or undue advantage in connection with the Services, and to comply with applicable anti-bribery, sanctions, and export-control laws, and to provide such information and cooperation as we may reasonably require for these purposes.
The Services and all Content, including our name, logo, trademarks, branding, design, text, graphics, and images, are owned by or licensed to Rhovion and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for their intended purpose. You acquire no rights in the Services or Content except as expressly granted, and you must not use our name, trademarks, or branding without our prior written consent.
Any information, material, or content you submit to us (including Enquiry details and documentation) must be accurate and lawful, and you grant us a licence to use it for the purpose of providing the Services and as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you provide and for ensuring you have the right to provide it.
Discretion is fundamental to Rhovion. You agree to keep confidential, and not to disclose to any third party, non-public information you obtain through the Services or your dealings with us, including Listings, prices and quotations, the terms of transactions, the identities of counterparties, and any information relating to Rhodium membership or invitations, except as required by law or with our consent. We will handle your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You agree that we may communicate with you, and that you may transact and contract with us, by electronic means, including email, messaging platforms, and the Services. You agree that electronic communications, confirmations, and records satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing, and you consent to receiving communications from us electronically.
The Services may contain links to, or rely on, third-party websites, platforms, or services. We are not responsible for, and do not endorse, third-party websites, content, products, or services, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and all Content and Items are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties or representations of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at all times, or that any Item can be sourced or supplied. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, or performance of third-party Sellers, suppliers, or partners. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Where you deal with us as a consumer, you may have rights under applicable consumer-protection law, including, in India, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or limits any right or remedy you have under such law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited, and to the extent any provision of these Terms is inconsistent with such a right, that right prevails. The exclusions and limitations set out in these Terms apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the Consumer Rights clause above:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rhovion and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, your breach of any law or third-party right, or, where you are a Seller, any Item you list or supply.
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where the failure or delay results from events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, failure of utilities or communications, governmental action, or restrictions affecting the sourcing, import, or delivery of Items.
We may, at our discretion and without liability, suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services or your membership, in whole or in part, at any time, including where we consider you have breached these Terms or applicable law, or where necessary to manage legal or reputational risk. On termination, the rights granted to you will cease, but any provisions which by their nature should survive — including those on fees, confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law — will continue.
We may modify these Terms or the Services at any time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when these Terms were last revised. Material changes will be notified by appropriate means. Your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We may also add, change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time.
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Services (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any right to refer a dispute to arbitration, the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction. We may, at our option, require that any dispute be finally resolved by arbitration seated in Mumbai, India, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator appointed in accordance with that Act, with the proceedings conducted in English. Nothing in this clause prevents us from seeking injunctive or interim relief from a court, and nothing in this clause affects any right a consumer may have to pursue a remedy before the consumer dispute-redressal forums established under applicable law.
If you have any question, concern, or complaint regarding the Services or these Terms, please contact our Grievance Officer:
The Grievance Officer, RhovionWe will acknowledge your complaint within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt and endeavour to resolve it within fifteen (15) days, or within such other period as may be required by applicable law, including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, where applicable.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
This Return Policy sets out Rhovion’s position on returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. By submitting an enquiry, placing an order, or making a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this Return Policy.
Rhovion deals in rare, high-value, collectible, and often unique or bespoke goods and assets, which are frequently sourced and acquired on demand specifically for you. For these reasons, all sales are final. As a general rule, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations, or offer refunds, once an order or sale has been confirmed.
We do not offer any right of return, exchange, or refund as a matter of course. In particular, we do not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, a change in your circumstances or finances, or because an Item is no longer wanted, needed, or expected. You are responsible for satisfying yourself as to an Item — including its specification, condition, authenticity, provenance, suitability, and value — before confirming your order (see our Terms & Conditions).
Without limiting the above, the following are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:
We commit time, resources, and funds to acquiring and arranging Items upon your order, and such amounts are non-refundable.
We may, entirely at our sole and absolute discretion, consider a return, exchange, or refund in exceptional circumstances. What amounts to an “exceptional circumstance” is determined by Rhovion alone and assessed on a case-by-case basis. By way of example only, and without creating any obligation or entitlement, circumstances we may choose to consider include:
The existence of any such circumstance does not entitle you to a return, exchange, or refund. Each request is reviewed individually and determined by us.
All decisions concerning returns, exchanges, and refunds are made by Rhovion at our sole and absolute discretion. We reserve the right to accept or decline any request, in whole or in part, and to determine the form of any remedy we may choose to offer (such as repair, replacement, exchange, credit, or refund), without being obliged to give reasons. Our decision is final.
If you believe your circumstances are exceptional, you must notify us in writing at support@rhovion.com promptly, and in any event within 48 hours of delivery or collection, before the Item is used, worn, altered, or removed from its original packaging. Your notice should include your order details, a clear description of the issue, and supporting evidence (such as photographs). You must retain the Item and keep it safe and unaltered pending our review. We will review your request and notify you of our decision. Failure to notify us within this period, or any use or alteration of the Item, may result in your request being declined.
Where we approve a return in an exceptional case, our approval is conditional on:
The cost of, and responsibility for, return shipping, insurance, and handling are determined by Rhovion on a case-by-case basis. We may decline a refund, or apply a deduction, where these conditions are not met.
Where we approve a refund, it will be made using the original payment method, unless we agree otherwise, within a reasonable period after we have received and verified the returned Item. We may deduct or withhold amounts in respect of: non-refundable deposits; our fees, commission, or sourcing costs; shipping, logistics, insurance, and handling; taxes, import, and customs duties already incurred (which are generally non-recoverable); and any reduction in the value of the Item. Refunds are made in the original currency of the transaction, and we are not responsible for any exchange-rate movement or bank or transfer charges.
Where we acted as intermediary, agent, or broker and the contract of sale was between you and a third-party Seller, any return, exchange, or refund is a matter between you and that Seller and is subject to the Seller’s own terms. We will use reasonable efforts to assist but are not responsible for the Seller’s decision, performance, or any remedy.
Nothing in this Return Policy excludes, restricts, or limits any right or remedy you may have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited, including, in India, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Where any such right applies, it prevails over this Policy to the extent of any inconsistency. To the extent permitted by law, statutory cancellation or “cooling-off” rights do not apply to Items that are sourced to order, personalised, or bespoke.
This Return Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. We may update this Policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above indicates when it was last revised. For any question, or to request a review under this Policy, please contact us at support@rhovion.com.
This Shipping Policy explains how Rhovion arranges the delivery and transport of Items. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions, Return Policy, and Privacy Policy. Because we deal in rare, high-value, and often unique goods and assets, delivery is arranged individually for each transaction rather than through a fixed shipping service.
Shipping, delivery, and transport are arranged on a case-by-case basis for each Item and transaction. We may handle delivery using our own internal logistics and personnel, or through a third-party logistics, courier, fine-art, or specialist transport provider. The method of delivery, the carrier or provider used, and the arrangements for a particular Item are mutually agreed between Rhovion and the customer. We will discuss and confirm the appropriate arrangement with you before delivery.
All aspects of delivery — including the method, carrier, cost, timing, and any delivery estimate — are determined on a case-by-case basis. Any timeframes, dispatch dates, delivery windows, or estimates we provide are indicative only, given in good faith, and not guaranteed. Delivery times depend on factors such as the nature and location of the Item, sourcing and authentication, the destination, customs and regulatory clearance, and the availability of suitable transport. We are not liable for any delay in delivery.
The cost of delivery, transport, insurance, and handling is determined and agreed on a case-by-case basis, and may be payable by you in addition to the price of the Item. We will make the applicable cost known to you as part of arranging delivery.
Given the value of the Items, we arrange delivery in a secure manner and, where appropriate, with suitable insurance and transit cover, the cost of which may be payable by you. Deliveries may require signature, identification, and verification of the recipient on receipt. Packaging may be discreet and without external branding for security.
We may arrange delivery within India and internationally. For cross-border deliveries, you are the importer of record unless otherwise agreed and are responsible for all customs, import duties, taxes, levies, and compliance in the destination country, and for ensuring that import of the Item is permitted in your jurisdiction. Delivery of certain Items may be subject to export, import, or other regulatory requirements, permits, or licences (see our Terms & Conditions).
Title to and risk in an Item pass as set out in our Terms & Conditions. In summary, unless otherwise agreed in writing, title passes on receipt of payment in full of all sums due, and risk passes on delivery or collection. You should inspect an Item promptly on delivery and notify us of any visible damage or discrepancy without delay, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and Return Policy.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and recipient details, and for ensuring that someone authorised is available to receive and sign for the Item. We may require that the Item is received by you or a named, authorised recipient, with identification. We are not responsible for any loss or delay arising from incorrect or incomplete address or recipient information provided by you.
If a delivery cannot be completed because no authorised recipient is available, because access is refused, or because of incorrect information, we may re-attempt delivery, hold the Item in secure storage, or make alternative arrangements, and any additional cost (including re-delivery, storage, or insurance) may be payable by you. Risk in the Item remains as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
Where appropriate, and by mutual agreement, you may collect an Item, or we may arrange a secure in-person or white-glove handover — in particular for high-value or large Items such as fine art. Any such arrangement is agreed on a case-by-case basis.
Residences and real estate are not shipped; possession and handover are dealt with through the relevant sale, registration, and completion process (see our Terms & Conditions). Motor vehicles are delivered, collected, or transported by arrangement, and registration and transfer formalities are dealt with as set out in our Terms & Conditions. Arrangements for these categories are agreed on a case-by-case basis.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts, or limits any right or remedy you may have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited, including, in India, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
This Shipping Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions, Return Policy, and Privacy Policy. We may update this Policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above indicates when it was last revised. To discuss delivery of an Item, please contact us at concierge@rhovion.com.

While we take reasonable care in preparing and presenting them, we do not warrant or guarantee that they are accurate, complete, current, reliable, or free from error, and they are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. You should not rely solely on the information on our website and should independently verify anything that is important to you.
Nothing on our website or in our communications constitutes legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, valuation, or other professional advice, and it should not be relied upon as such. You should obtain your own independent professional advice before making any decision in connection with an Item, a transaction, or the Services.
Items offered through Rhovion — including timepieces, fine art, jewellery, residences, and motorcars — are offered as goods and assets for acquisition and enjoyment, and not as investments, securities, or financial products. We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any Item will retain its value, appreciate in value, be resaleable, or generate any return or profit. The value of luxury goods, collectibles, art, and other assets can fall as well as rise and depends on market conditions and many other factors beyond our control. Any statement, view, or estimate we may give as to the value, rarity, desirability, or potential of an Item is an expression of opinion only, is not a guarantee, and should not be relied upon as the basis for any acquisition or financial decision.
Listings, descriptions, specifications, measurements, weights, and images are provided for general guidance only. They may be approximate, may vary from the actual Item, and colours or details may appear differently depending on your device or screen. Items, particularly pre-owned or collectible Items, may show variation, patina, or signs of age (see our Terms & Conditions).
We take reasonable care in the selection, presentation, and, where applicable, authentication of Items. However, except as expressly stated in a written contract or as required by law, we give no warranty or guarantee as to the authenticity, condition, quality, provenance, or value of any Item, in particular any Item supplied by a third-party Seller. You are responsible for satisfying yourself, and conducting your own due diligence, before purchase (see our Terms & Conditions).
Listings are invitations to treat and not offers, and the availability of any Item is not guaranteed; many Items are sourced on demand and may not be available, or may not be available within any particular timeframe or price. Prices are generally provided on application, may change, and may be subject to correction (see our Terms & Conditions).
Our website and communications may include content from, links to, or dealings with third parties, including third-party Sellers, suppliers, platforms, and services. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, third-party content, products, services, conduct, or websites, and any reliance on them is at your own risk.
We do not warrant that our website will be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components. Your use of the website is at your own risk, and you are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your own devices and systems.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on the information, content, or materials on our website, or from your use of the Services. Our liability is limited as set out in our Terms & Conditions. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes, restricts, or limits any liability, or any right or remedy, that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited, including, in India, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
